Had a chance to make (what very well could be) the last run of the year. Conditions were great. Temps were in the 40's, rode without jackets, wet snow on top but soft and deep if you broke through. Didn't really get any pics of how deep it actually was here, but some spots were kind of nuts. The terrain around this area is some of the highest in the yoop, and got some pretty good snows this year. Needless to say, not many issues with stumps, dirt, etc., but like the rest of the upper midwest I'm sure it's going quick. I'd say about 80% of what we rode was untouched all year because the area is not as easily accessible or known. Hope it wasn't the last ride, but if so, it was a blast, and can't wait till next season!
KB - My folks have a camp up around the Ishpeming area.
Tech - Would have been fun. From the looks of all the photos, you guys had some serious fun. I was chattn with Pat one evening while you were out there, and he mentioned you couldn't pull above 7800r's on BJ's setup. Did you get it dialed in?

Pretty close to 8100-8200, clicker #4 and hollow pins (12-ish ounce) in the primary. Hard to keep an eye on the tach while following the likes of Carter - Pat - Robbie in the backcountry! Pin it and go... that was the motto for the week! I was holding my own on "drag race hill" for sure though...
