Just wait a little bit and your pipe will be smaller and it will come right off.

I had to think about that...That there is funny

Actually I have the same issue on my motorcycle pipe and am wondering what the solution is. I tried Goo Gone and that did not work.

If its chrome, have you tried a good & soapy SOS pad? If I remember, that worked for me, just don't scrub too hard.

0000 Steel wool. Just buff lightly and maybe once you get the main marks off, apply some Chrome wax. Then take it off with the 0000 Steel wool. Then, apply another coat of wax and buff it off with a cloth. Assuming it all came off with the steel wool. My son in law does it that way on his Harley.

HAHAHAHA now that right there is funny

Try a plastic scraper after the pipe is cooled down of course and then 0000 steel wool, or get it hot a few times and hit it with a pressure washer, the more time it heats and cools the drier the rubber will get and the easier it will come off

I have seen at a Harley dealer that they sell a H-D branded product for removing the melted rubber from exhaust pipes.
