I can only wish I could have rode as many miles as he has thru the years! And many with his wife also. Family always makes for the best enjoyment, my wife and I rode our sleds together as much as time would allow.

heck 20k on a new modern sled
did you see how he managed some yrs in the early yrs, doing 5-7,000+ miles on them old a$$ sleds with little to no suspension and ALL the break down so many used have(all brands too NOT bashing any one)

I give the guy a LOT of credit to have put as many mile's on them old sleds more than the new modern sleds, plus all the grooming now as to tears back!
Man must have one heck of a great back, and rather healthy life in general
I know my body took too many hits for that many miles a yr on a sled!

Wish it wasn't, but, aches and pains stop me long before desire ever did!

Yep, you got it whitedust, weight does make a defining difference in ride! fuji, Doo talk is how I followed the 20K trek last year, very addicting, and interesting to follow. I can't help but to envy his being able to ride as he did over all the years! A wish come true! And by the way fuji, where have you been? In your absent time, how many of your toys were you able to trade, sell, and replace?

I think you missed my point. If Yamaha had a new apex which they don’t it certainly would be lighter than the 2011 delta box if not Yamaha is a lost cause. Now the 2021 cats have been released what about Yamaha still no announcement??

    I like Doo talk too.
The guy with the miles rode in Canada where they actually have miles of trails and consistent snow. Snow highways I'm told.

New toys abound, Picked up a new leftover 2018 1000 Ranger and put a Boss plow on it (Ken's mega price) with a 2020 X-Gade 850 on-deck in November.

Found a cool website that chats about lease deals all over the country; www.leasehackr.com
Used it to lease a 2019 Tundra for $240 a month with $600 down (covered all tax, title and doc fee). 15,000 miles per year for two years.

I just blocked out some hotel rooms Monday-Tuesday in Houghton for the 2nd and 3rd weeks on December just in case it snows. Thought about doing the same in Munising just in case.

Been chatting with Polaris Dan off-line, he may come to Green Bay for Da' Bears game if they are in playoff contention.
    Let's ride.

I know I’m just frustrated with Yamaha doing nothing leaving their faithful blowing in the wind while AC moves on to 2021 line up. If done say it.

Over on Dootalk there is a thread on the Milwaukee snow show, guys said A/C/Yams were absent.

    I wonder what that means?

I'm not a snowmobile dealer but have had to deal with when another company buys another out, not going to name names but one of the product lines I represent bought a company out 3 years ago and this spring/stock order we will finally be able to purchase the new product, I wouldn't think doom and gloom yet, and I for one hope Cat will be back to stay, competition is always good for whatever industry it may be.

Oh Cat is back thru 2021 season so far looks like BNG but November is the big and final reveal for 2021 line up. I’m not sure what’s up at Cat with release dates? Usual and customary is Spring not fall of the previous year. Lol. Maybe they will get back in Sync with other OEMs in 2022 Spring release? No partnership announcement from Yamaha or Textron. So far 99% of AC is 2s with their engines only performance 4s so far is the Thundercat. If a new limited build chassis is in the works we will know in November otherwise still procross until 2022.

Oh White dust you are the only rider in a big storm that said. We have to wait till the trails are groomed before you could ride your Yamaha. If I remember you burned belts off.
We rode all of northern Wisconsin that weekend with over 20" of snow.

Not sure what your talking about never burned a belt when I owned Yamaha sleds and I always ride groomed trails, powder, lakes, farm field and bumpy unplowed fire roads just to get to the trails lol. Riding an Enduro 900t since last winter.

Several trips in Canada we rode with 4-Stroke Yamaha's of different models, and that was same way grub. Overnight, and accumulating deep snow, drifted snow, and not good. We left one morning on a 250 mile plus run, frash deep snow, open areas drifted bad, and the Apex was a real chore all day long! No choice, we had to go. The other Yami that day was a Phazer, and she had her hands full with that, even with a longer track? They do seem to be better for a groomed trail sled. 4 times stuck with the Apex, that day. All 3 of us guys were ready to burn it. But get it on hard pack, and bye, bye!

If they do come out with something new. Why would anyone want to buy it the first year. I thought doo would have had more issues with the 900t last year than they did.

Anyone who buys a first year model of anything should have there Head examined.
