    Hi John,
thank you for providing us with this great snowmobile information, they’re always great reads, someday maybe will meet in person, I guess the 450 mile distance between us kinda gets in the way of that, I have gotten to know Kip better through this site and for that I am also thankful

Thanks a bunch John! If only you had the power to have made it snow more the 2nd half of this past winter!

Thanks John! Been coming to this site for more years than I hate to admit. Thanks for all the weather reports, but thank you to for sharing your life stories. Sandy Krupp always had kind words for you, that says it all in a nutshell. Hope your hand is healing fast. Look forward to future journals and forcasts. Once again Thanks.

Thanks everyone! The site is a real labor of love, but it makes it a lot easier to keep at it knowing so many are appreciative!

Wish I could have had more snow to forecast for this season and that it did not have to end on the note it is, but if there is one thing to be said about snow lovers, it's that we all never give up hope!

    Bless you all!

    -John

In light of the current events it's nice to be able to come here for questions, answers, and everything else going on these days. I'm sure that JD.com will always be about snowmobiling and weather but also a source of everyday topics. You name it, we've probably covered it at some point in time. Thanks John for the opportunity to connect with others. Stay healthy and keep the family safe!

Hey John and Fellow JD Followers!

Just want to say, I've been visiting this site since the very beginning when John lived in Lake Linden and the Journals were all about the dogs and snow.

John has had such a positive effect on my life and helped influence some of the bigger decisions I've made, including the purchase of my cabin between Grand Marais and Seney - Right in the Secondary SnowBelt (biggest snow totals east of the Keweenaw).

I know I"m more of a lurker here, but I also want to say it's always refreshing to hear from you all as you're the lifeblood of the JD Forums community, you make my life better just by the fact that I know there's snow geeks more obsessed than I am!

John, your forecasts and contributions to this community are invaluable, we all count on you for the best Upper Midwest snow forecasts on earth!

    Cheers Everyone!

John, I would also like to thank you for your site. The weather forecasts are what brought me here, then trail reports became a go to place every morning during riding season, then your journals. Personally I like to hear about the events that happen up in the woods and it's especially nice to read about how happy you are with your family. A nice detour from the chaotic world some of us live in. Something I wasn't expecting when I first visited your site was that I would meet people here. Riding buddies that have become friends and for that I'm thankful.

Looking forward to your 2020/2021 seasonal forecast!
