Also have a Advocate Watchman Fat Bike for winter riding. Can't find a picture of it.
And two Polaris Sportsman ATV's but I spend a lot more time on the bikes than the wheelers.

    Love the LeSabre!

My Grandma had a 1970 Skylark. She was in her early 70's and would purposely drive fast enough on a country road outside of Crystal Lake to catch air, just so she could hear my younger brother, his friend and me laugh as we floated off the seats in the back! We called the road the "wee road" and would ask her every time if we could take the wee road where ever we were going. Man, those were the days!

Now that sounds like Military Road/Bridge Street at Baraga Street (north of Sharon Avenue) in Houghton, it was called it the Baraga bumps, and folks would drive down that hill at warp speed to catch air in the same way, going airborne just past Baraga Street!

Went out and bought a Polaris XP4 Turbo RZR last year thinking that would be a new summer hobby. To be honest i just don't think I am into it and debating on selling it. We figured the kids would like it, but they hate the dust. Wife walks right past it and gets on her old beater ATV to ride around the farm. Took two trips up north last fall and was really not feeling it. Sleds are way funner to us. If i sell it i will probably look into another dual sport bike.

    Slimcake,

Is that a '73 or '74 Monte? I had a 1973 blue Monte with a white landau top. Cruise, tilt and air with the old Corvette wheels. It had a 350 cid V8 with a 2bbl Rochester carb that I replaced with a 4bbl Rochester and added HEI ignition. Loved that car! My mom had a '68 Le Sabre as well which was also a nice car. The Buick was so long that when I took my road test in it for my driver's license, the instructor had me do a Y turn in a residential street on garbage day. I knocked down a garbage can, LOL!

1975. Last year for the round headlights. 400 small block powered. Shes a long way from stock but very well mannered. High revvin small block!! The Lesabre is actually about 2 inches longer than the Monte. Couldn't believe it when I pulled it into the garage. Need a lot of real estate in the garage with them two land yachts!! IMG_20120412_180157-2.jpg Here is the original purchase order on the Lesabre. Talk about blast from the past!

We really like it. Rode Harleys for years & then switched over to this 2 years ago. Haven't looked back. It has a radio with blue tooth, navigation, back-up camera, etc... so has some creature comforts.

Just Kidding, although that is what I grew up using as a boat. First boat my Dad let me use by myself when I was 8 years old, Alumacraft 14ft with 1960 Johnson 10 HP motor, still runs perfect.

This one is my go to fishing boat, wy more comfortable to fish out of. Hopefully the pics are viewable.

Racerx, that is a '91 as well, it too has the TPI (tuned port injection) 305, however, I've done some changes to it that breathed some new life into it. Though I would like more hp out of it, it is a numbers matching motor, trans & chassis. It is a blast to drive, the handling is like a slot car. I would recommend that you hang onto yours, they are climbing in value slowly, but, I didn't buy it to put it under glass, I drive it as much as I can during the summers. They like to be driven, park them, they go to ****, so drive it, enjoy it. -Mezz

Thanx for the reply as it was encouraging to lean to keeping it, this ride has a lot of sentimental value. Was surprised you said 305, was going to ask if you meant 350 as I thought all Z28 had 350 TPI, guess I never did the research as I found out it did have multiple engine choices. Wish I would have known that back then as I was buying right off the lot. My RS was an every summer weekend ride but it does not see bad days outside (especially since it is black) and the wife took over MY garage so it has skipped many a year. But now we will probably be moving so I see it coming out more as it will be in MY new garage instead of 50miles away but I do have family that wonder if that will be the case. I just wonder if that low air dam will bulldoze the new drive

    Thanx again

With all due respect to John, posting pics on this site is archaic at best..I quit a few years ago.
Why do we have to resize?
Why do we have to upload and then download again?
    That is 3 years ago.

Anyone post an ad on Facebook Marketplace? Wow, amazing!
I love this site but don't need the stress, life is wacked already.

My apologies for the antiquated method for posting pictures, but the discussion board software dictates how that has to be done. It would be nice to switch to a different software that is more modern for posting pics, but with over 20,000 members, the roll over would be quite a chore.

I have never had to resize pictures or anything on this site. IDK what those guys are talking about. I just click the pic button on the quick reply box and upload. Easy. IMG_20200102_174956_01.jpg Look familiar Fuji??

Me either, but I know the board works slightly differently for me as the admin. So I thought that might be the case here. Glad it is not a widespread problem.

I actually think posting pics on this site is pretty easy. Click insert image ^ browse, select image, upload image, done.

    Default That's what she said....

    Tunnel Graphics.jpg

Size Matters. It all begins with your camera setting. The above picture was taken on my phone with an Aspect Ratio of 4:3 It's a combination of size and definition/sharpness. Go to your camera screen as if you were taking a picture Go to Settings on your Camera/Phone, it's usually in the upper right hand corner. There should be a Settings button and that is where you make the changes and if it's not set to 4:3 change it.

The reason our pictures are being posted sideways or not at all is that the picture file is too large.

    Hope this helps.

Only pictures can be uploaded to the board. Videos take up a ton of memory and bandwidth. I'd go broke paying the bills for the bandwidth. Sorry!

You can upload to Youtube and then post a link to the video on the board.

I would think Big Red would qualify for a picture on this thread.

It ain't easy, let me tell YA!

We did have a nice Can Commander a few years back, but just did not use it as much as we thought we would. I would like to have one sometime in the future, but the first toy on the summer toy list will be a boat. I LOVE to boat and Nora LOVES to fish, so it would be a perfect fit.

I think Gary is right though. Big Red can qualify as a summer toy. Actually, an all season toy!

Sounds like a business expense to look at the glacier and scout weather camera outposts.
