Default Starting Monday June 8th... Back to no more political content.

This poop is starting to drive me batty and I think that the relief valve with the virus is no longer needed. There will ALWAYS be something to discuss with the political world, so to try and find a time when there is nothing is impossible.

I do appreciate EVERYONE'S restraint from making things ugly, but I also had to read through each post to make sure they were OK and it's begun to eat at me too much!

So we will go back to worrying about keeping our own house clean and not our neighbors and refrain from political and/or religious starting next Monday. I will leave the existing threads up, but close them to further posts.

So wear a mask, don't wear a mask. Protest or don't. BLM, ALM, Trump 2020...have I forgot anything? Oh yea, smile, be happy! Life is way to short for anything else.

    -John

    Awesome.

Now we can get back to arguing about hand signals and which brand of oil is best.

A wise old owl who lived in an oak
The more he saw the less he spoke
The less he spoke, the more he heard
Now wasn’t that owl a wise old bird?

Sounds like a good plan John, wouldn’t it be a great idea that you would have to prove that you owned a snowmobile to get registered into the site, maybe it would eliminate a lot of unnecessary posts

So, if a newbie does not yet own a snowmobile, but is researching buying one, they could not register and participate to get opinions and information?
Or if a weekend warrior only rents a sled, they can not participate in this community?
Your thought is a good one, but comes with its own set of ramifications...
And yes, I do own a sled... and an ATV, and a lawn tractor, and a garden cart, 2 mopeds, an RV, an SUV, a truck, ... ,are my credentials good enough for you? Oh, and I pay taxes, support the local economy, LOVE the U.P. ... and I am a member of the human race... To say nothing of clicking on this web site to drive up advertising revenue...

    Just having some fun here;

New Members should belong to their local club.
New Members should use hand signals. (except at night)
New Members Using Sea & Snow is optional.
New Members should stay on their side of the trail.

    cool,
    I am all IN,..
BUT...lets make a bargain, mr JD...

You send me $100 for every pop up or side bar ad I have to look at that refers in any way to the c-19 BS pandemic, OR to george floyd in any way shape or form.

I do not own a snowmobile but love the sport and ride when possible. I love snow, and get exited when a snow storm is bearing down on my home area. I, like many others on this site, rode hundreds of miles around my dads property in the 1970's and 1980's on a now vintage snowmobile. I rent when I ride, usually in Eagle River, WI or Houghton, MI. I find, unless you ride 10-15 times a year, renting is cheaper. Please keep the board open to enthusiasts, not just sled owners. I have no problem blocking those who post political comments to incite others to rebut them or agree with them.

    My last ride.

I have a tip for you...Let you wife order clothes and bathing suits on your PC and all you will see is the pop up adds of chicks in bathing suits! My wife will look over my shoulder and wonder why the girls are showing up on the right side and I tell her "its because of you!"

See the post from dfattack above. It is true! The pop up ads are based on what you have been looking at on the web. It uses cookies. So either clear your cookies from your browser, or start browsing things with better tasting cookies!
