Twin Lakes March 7-10, 2013

Had excellent conditions all weekend. The trails were flat all weekend from twin lakes to copper harbor. We even ran into groomers when the trails were flat, it does'nt get any better than that. Hats off to the keweenaw groomers and the superior snowmobile club. We put on 620 miles in 2.5 days. Even through houghton was very good. Overall, it was well worth the trip, and of course they get 17 inches of fresh 2 days after we leave, figures.

Excellent trails include- Freda loop, Greenland loop, Twin Lakes half of 109, Trail 122,133,124,135,134 130,3 from mass city to copper harbor, good to very good through houghton. With the fresh they just got this weekend coming up should be by far the best riding of the year with the low traffic.

Nice pics! Looks like you had the trails to yourself! We were up that way around 03/09 and had the same conditions! And it continues to snow!

Thanks guys we had awesome conditions! It turned out to be a really good year after the slow start.
