After I used the file attachment button I was able to see all the old photos I had uploaded over the years! The one I selected is one of the first one's I posted at least 5 years ago.
Only thing that didn't seem to work, was after I attached it, it still didn't show up in my message until I either posted it, or did a preview post. I'm not typing in the lower window of the preview post, but the image does not show up here at all so I don't know where my text is going to show up in relationship to the image.
Still, huge steps forward from the past several months.
Going advanced again but using the insert image icon this time.
Same result Nothing shows up until I either preview, or actually post. If I edit, the image is not there.
Three other general observations, the file size I posted this time was over 2 mb so that seems to be corrected, the method I used this time did not allow me to see previous photos I had posted before, I'm wondering why the photos appear in a box that says attached thumbnails and other people seem to have the photo more as a part of their actual post.
