    Default Newest Honda Goldwing

    I am thinking about getting one of the newest Honda Goldwings (2018 to present) with the automatic transmission. Has anyone bought one or rode one? I have a 2008 Wing and love it but am now in my 60's and think it would be nice not to have to shift. Appreciated any input.

    Didja notice, the forum parsing engine is generating garbage again! On the suspicion that the garbage character in the above was supposed to be an apostrophe, here is is an apostrophe enclosed in parentheses and followed by a period; note all the garbage resulting from that simple string of four characters: (&#39<img src="/vbulletin/images/smilies/wink.png" alt="" title="Wink" smilieid="4" class="inlineimg" border="0">.<br><br& #62;

    Odd. I wonder if it has anything to do with Rmosbo posting those links to nowhere. Rmosbo joined in 2011 and not any posts for 10 years now random links to nowhere. Seems like something is hacked.

    I&#39;m not sure if you have joined any of the Goldwing Forums that are on the internet, but most guys who buy the DCT automatic are very happy with that purchase. I have a 2014 Goldwing that i bought new as a left-over in 2015. I absolutely love my current Goldwing! I have not ridden a 2018 or up new Wing, I sat on one at the dealer and it felt too small for me (I&#39;m a big guy), but I would entertain a test ride sometime.
    I also hear that the Sport mode with the DCT on the new wing is mighty impressive.

    Well, I went to Team Motorsports in De Pere and took one for a test ride in early July. Loved the performance and the ride. Pulled the trigger on this left over 2020. I have already put about 1600 miles on it. Ride it almost every day now.

    Beautiful looking bike! Probably the best summer to have one. Enjoy.... -Mezz
